Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! This is my third year as your principal and I can say, “It is GREAT to be back and continuing to serve and lead Engelwood Elementary!”

“GAME ON!” has been added to our theme because we are still on our journey to raise our school grade. Last year we came extremely close. We missed our goal by one percentage point. Please know, we are not deterred, but DETERMINED. We made great gains from the beginning of the year to the end and compared to the previous school year! I am proud of the hard work and effort our students and teachers put forth. Transformation takes time and we are well on our way.
Engelwood’s faculty/staff will continue to love and teach our children. We are committed to excellence and learning is our focus.
Through collaboration, our goal can and will be accomplished. We are looking forward to a year of partnerships with our families and community. We welcome and encourage parents/guardians to volunteer in our school and attend our parent engagement events. “¡QUE COMIENZE EL JUEGO!” Se ha agregado a nuestro tema porque todavía estamos en nuestro camino para mejorar nuestra calificación escolar. El año pasado estuvimos muy cerca. Perdimos nuestro objetivo por un punto porcentual. Por favor, sepa que no estamos disuadidos, sino DETERMINADOS. ¡Obtuvimos grandes avances desde el principio del año hasta el final y en comparación con el año escolar anterior! Estoy orgulloso del arduo trabajo y esfuerzo que nuestros estudiantes y maestros hicieron. La transformación lleva tiempo y vamos por buen camino.
La Faculta y empleados de Engelwood seguirán amando y enseñando a nuestros niños. Estamos comprometidos con la excelencia y el aprendizaje es nuestro enfoque.
