Celebrating 5 at 525: ALUMNI ART SHOW

brush with orange paint promoting alumni art show

Hoover High School and the North Canton City Schools have a rich history in supporting the visual arts. In 2016 NCCS furthered their commitment with Studio525, a student-powered art gallery. To celebrate the over sixty years of visual artists and five years with Stark County’s first high school art gallery, an alumni retrospective of works will be on display in Hoover High School’s own student-powered art gallery.  All genres and media will be considered.

The exhibition will be juried by guest curator, Nicole Malcolm.  Nicole is a 2017 graduate of Hoover High School and a 2021 graduate of Ohio University, majoring in fine arts with a concentration in printmaking. Hoover Senior Student Curators are PJ Johnson and Kelly Friel.
