My name is Shanita Davis.  I have been teaching at WHES for 3 years now but have been working in education for over 9 years. I graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Consumer Science and Shaw University with a Master of Science Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am a proud graduate of Northampton County High School-East Class of 2006. I am from the small town of Woodland, NC, where everyone knows everyone. Since I was a little girl, I always wanted to be a teacher. I had a teacher that inspired and encouraged me during my toughest days in Elementary school that led me to the teaching profession. I am an energetic, lovable, fun, and dedicated teacher. My goal as an Educator is to give back to my Community which is Northampton. I vow to love, teach, and encourage my students just as they were my very own children.
