My name is Kiera Edmonds and this upcoming year will be my 3rd year teaching 2nd grade at Central Elementary School. I was born and raised in Halifax County and received my college education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, graduating with a BA in English Literature.

I come from a family of educators and I am very passionate about shaping and molding the minds of children with knowledge that will aid them in being great and changing the world. My goal is to impact each scholar doing my best to provide them with an education that will not only affect their academic career but also impact their social footprints in the world. In doing this, I create an environment in my classroom that allows room for error and growth as we embark on each educational journey together. Knowledge is power that no one can take away from you as an individual and I strive to instill these morals and values in my students daily while watching them grow emotionally and academically.
