Welcome to 8th Grade Science!

8^th grade science is structured to contribute to the development of students as inquirers, scientifically literate, caring and responsible individuals who think critically and creatively when solving problems and making decisions about aspects affecting themselves, others and their social and natural environments. Students will have the opportunity to solve problems in familiar and unfamiliar situations, to become engaged in the role of science in the world, to gain insights into the dependencies between science and societal, environmental and ethical factors.
