    6th Grade Social Studies consists of geography, civics, economy, and ancient history.  Sixth graders will be discovering ancient civilizations of the world from 8000BC-600AD including adaptaions, inovations, timelines and interpretations.  

    ELA is designed to support students who are English Language Learners. The class focuses on all four language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It offers a balance approach of teaching using thematic units, phonics, learning strategies, CALLA (Cognitive Academic Language Learning) and cooperative learning.
