Mr. Hickox
7th Grade Science/Coding
8th Grade Animation
Mr. Hickox started teaching at Harbour Pointe Middle School in 2018. Teaching middle school youth is his passion along with his strong interest in the study of weather. He combined his passions when he earned a dual degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Secondary Education at the University of Nevada, Reno with aspirations of educating young minds and communities about Earth and weather sciences. Mr. Hickox is a strong believer in inquiry-based learning and keeping science both engaging and relevant. If you run into him, feel free to strike up a conversation about the weather, it’s more than just small talk to him!
