Ashley Elliott is the school counselor at Brookwood Forest.  She grew up in Valdosta, Georgia and studied elementary education at Wake Forest University.  After student teaching in 3rd grade in Winston-Salem and completing an internship under a school counselor in a London school, she decided that school counseling would be the best way to put her talents and strengths to use helping children.  She received her M.Ed. in School Counseling from UNC-Chapel Hill, and completed her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at Samford University.  

 

Mrs. Elliott completed her National Boards for Professional Teaching Standards in Early Childhood/Young Adult School Counseling 2017.  

 

Mrs. Elliott moved to Alabama in 2011 for her job at Brookwood Forest, and she considers it one of the best decisions she has ever made for many reasons!  

 

Now that she is here, she enjoys exercising, running, trying out new recipes, and spending time with her husband (Christian), son (Sam), family, and friends!  The students often enjoy hearing stories about "Baby Sam".  Mrs. Elliott cheers for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and Ole Miss!
