I'm so excited to be apart of Riverside and teaching kindergarten this year! I've lived in Columbia, TN my entire life besides when I attended college; I lived in Chattanooga for 4 and a half years. I enjoy trips to the beach, hanging out with my family, watching movies, painting, and playing tennis. My absolute favorite thing is spending time with my Yorkie, Tag. It is a privilege to be apart of such a great community at Riverside!

Hey y’all! I am very excited to be teaching kindergarten at RES this year! I graduated from CSU-Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Adolescent Development. I have been working in early childhood settings for the past five years, but have decided to embark on the new challenge of teaching elementary school-aged children. My husband, Jordan, and I moved our two sons, Bryan and Ruger, to Maury county two years ago. I love animals, spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, fiction/fantasy movies/tv shows, video games, and reading books. While we have a plethora of dogs, cats, and chickens, we really enjoy taking the time to travel and explore new areas whenever we get the chance.

I’m so excited to be joining the Riverside Family as I head into my 4th year teaching! I have previously taught 6th, Kinder, and 5th grade math & science. I am happily married to my highschool sweetheart, Matthew! We love to hike, play games, watch our favorite TV series, try new restaurants, and spend time with our rescue kitten, Junie!

I have been teaching for 18 years. I have taught every grade K-12, except 3rd grade. Kindergarten is my absolutely favorite! I have taught in Maury County for 14 years and moved to Clarksville for the past two and half years, before returning back to Columbia this year. I am married to Kris and have two children, Haley and Mason. I love traveling to National Parks and shopping on Amazon.
