       The Central High School Student Council is among the oldest and most well respected organizations on campus. It is made up of people who run for Student Body Offices and class representatives on the council. There are grade and clean discipline record requirements. The Student council applications for upperclassmen are due in the SPRING, the Freshman Council in the FALL. Student council is the moving force behind Homecoming, Class Competitions, Coming Home, Prom, Senior Day, and most of the other school-wide social functions each year. The council also functions as a link between the school and the community. Student Council strives to work in conjunction with the alumni, students, faculty, staff, and administration to insure that our students have the best high school experience. The cost of being on student council includes the purchase of a shirt and the purchase of items (minimal) from time to time which relate to the activities the council sponsors.
