The Family Resource Center (FRC) works in partnership with the parents, the community, several local agencies, the school itself, and businesses to help each child succeed in school. The FRC helps find resources, gives parents support, and works through different issues with students and families. The FRC offers a variety of programs to students and families alike. The FRC also has a Lending Library with books and videos available for parents to check out.
The Family Resource Center Advisory Board includes representatives from the school, the community, and concerned parents. The Advisory Board meets four times a year to review the center's programs and directs the center on needs. We encourage parents/caregivers to get involved in the FRC and MPES. If you want to become involved with the Family Resource Center Advisory Board, contact the director, Megan Chatman, at (931) 379-2096.
