Social Work/Guidance

Hello!

My name is Rachel Hying and I am the full-time School Social Worker at State Road Elementary! Along with being the School Social Worker, I also teach classroom guidance in our building from grades PreK to 5th Grade. As a School Social Worker I am available to work with students and families to help connect them to community resources, navigate services, and offer any support to help the students be as successful as they can be! I meet with students 1 on 1 and in small groups in addition to classroom time to work on friendship, social skills, and various other topics.
