Hey there! I’m Mrs.Chancey, and I am so excited to be teaching first grade here at Rehobeth! I am an alumnus of RHS and a graduate of Troy University. I knew I wanted to teach ever since I was in the first grade and NEVER changed my mind. At Troy, I  graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. While obtaining my degree, I also worked as a Title One Tutor and Substitute at RES.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Dylan, and we have one child, Ella Kate. She is our world. Having a child, I understand that we all have our own worries and concerns. As a teacher, I try to handle every situation the way I would want for my own child. Outside of school, I love to bake, travel, and spend time with family. My brother plays sports, so you can often find us at the ballpark. We love cheering for him and the Rebels! Teaching is a true calling and I am so glad to be teaching where I call “home.”
