Mrs. Melea Cleveland

I am now in my fifth year at RES! Part of my title is speech therapist - serving children in preschool through 8th grade. The other part of my title is special education teacher - serving preschool and kindergarten. I love what I do! My students are always able to make me smile, even if my day isn't off to a good start! I worked with Dothan City Schools for 6 years as a speech therapist before transferring to Houston County Schools.

I am also the primary chief editor of the RES yearbook. This is my fifth year serving in this role.

I have a husband, Colby, and a little girl, Ansleigh, who is 3 years old, and we live in Chipley, Florida. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and cooking!

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University. After that, I attended Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia, studying Communication Sciences and Disorders - Master's program. I also received a Master's degree in Collaborative Teacher Education from Troy University.

My email address is cleveland.melea@hcboe.us in case you need to contact me.
