I began my teaching career at Beaulah Elementary in Lee County, January of 2006.  I moved home to Dothan the summer of 2007 and began teaching at Rehobeth.  Rehobeth Elementary is such a large family that works together to provide a great education for all students.  My students know that I'm going to teach my heart out, but more importantly, they know I truly care about them.  I feel that is important.  After nine years of teaching special education, I found my love for teaching 2nd grade in 2015!

I graduated from Dothan High School in 2002.  In 2005, I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Collaborative Education, and in 2006 I completed my Master's Degree in Collaborative Education.  Both degrees are from AUBURN UNIVERSITY!!!  WAR EAGLE!!  

I am originally from Dothan, and I feel honored to be at such a wonderful school in Houston County.  I am blessed with boy/girl twins, Carter and Caroline, who were born on November 15, 2013.  We enjoy spending time with family and friends, boating, and going to the beach.
