On behalf of the PTSA Board, I welcome new and returning families to the 2020-21 school year at Glendale High School. With all the changes this year may bring, the one thing that will stay the same is our dedication to serving our students and families. We will continue to advocate not only for our children’s education, but also their safety, welfare, and health.

The PTSA Board represents your community and shares in your concerns. I encourage you to reach out to any of us should you have any issues you’d like to discuss. The PTSA Board is looking at each challenge as an opportunity to come up with creative solutions and to continue to bring programs and e-events that are relevant to our current situation. If you have an idea to share, we’d love to hear from you!

    Ways to stay connected:

    • Join our Facebook group to interact with other parents and alumni families.
    • Subscribe to the weekly newsletter, Nitro Newsflash . The Nitro Newsflash will have all the latest updates, so don’t forget to subscribe right away.
“Act like what you do makes a difference. It does.” This quote by William James rings true and will be our encouragement going forward. I cannot think of a more crucial time to join PTA. Please get/stay involved in your child's high school experience. You don’t have to volunteer for anything, but joining PTSA helps you connect with other parents, teachers, administration, and community members. The user friendly online signup can be accessed here with your email address, or print and mail this membership form, along with cash or check, to PTSA Membership Chair, 1440 E Broadway, Glendale, CA 91205.

You can also sign up on the spot while your student is at textbook pick up!

I have been a GUSD parent since 2006, with Verdugo Woodlands and Wilson Middle School as my home schools. My son graduated from Crescenta Valley High in 2019 and my daughter is a freshman at Glendale High this year. I am very encouraged by the thoughtfulness and support of the Glendale High administration and look forward to getting to know the school and community even more during my time here!
