  • Glendale High School is better... with YOU!  We invite every parent, teacher, student and neighbor to join the PTSA to help us make GHS the best it can be for our students and staff!

     

    PTSA continues to be one of the most indispensable resources for parents and families during this time of change. At GHS, we are exploring new ways to keep up our support of school programs and events, whatever medium/format they may be in this year. When you join the PTSA you help us support projects, events and purchases that benefit the entire school community such as College Rep Visits, GHS COLLEGE FAIR, ASB and GHS programs support, Nitro Newsflash weekly newsletter, Senior Awards Night Reception, College Signing Breakfast, Community Service Awards program, Red Ribbon Week, Reflections, Concessions sales, Coffee with the Principal & Potluck Events, Staff Appreciation Luncheons, and more! Some of these events may happen in an altered manner but PTSA is committed to them. Additionally, National PTA is steadfast in its support and advocacy for families and offers COVID-19 related resources at https://www.pta.org/home/family-resources/coronavirus-information

    PTSA has been an integral part of Glendale High for more than 100 years!

     

    Membership is $10 a year per person

     
    Students benefit from membership in the following ways:
    • Any student with GHS PTSA membership is eligible to apply for local and state PTSA scholarships. (Students must be members at least 30 days prior to application)
    • Student Leadership positions are available within the PTSA
    • PTSA tracks your community service hours & awards you with a medal for performing 100 hours of service
    • Automatic subscription to the weekly Nitro Newsflash e-newsletter when you join
    • Membership gives you a voice and a chance to be involved in decisions affecting campus life and academic support
    • PTSA membership goes a long way on your college applications!

    • Opportunities to participate in the decision-making process regarding programs at GHS

    Join the PTSA by clicking the JOIN TODAY button above. Just signup with your email address. For $11, you can sign up for membership for the year, print your membership card and have the option to renew membership with one click next year.  
     
    OR you can download and print the membership form, and mail the form with your membership dues ($10/membership) to PTSA Membership Chair, 1440 E Broadway, Glendale, CA 91205 (checks can be made payable to Glendale High PTSA). 
     
    Additional donations to PTSA are welcome and will be used towards programs and events to support students, school and community!
