Nutrition Services Department
Glendale Unified School District serves healthy meals every school day
and good nutrition is a vital component of the learning process.
Paying for Meals
Meals
may be purchased with cash when meals are ordered at the cafeteria
window. However, it is easier for students if money is added to their
account using the pay-in-advance method. Once an account is created, students use a keypad at the cafeteria window to access their account.
To create an account or add funds to an existing account:
- Submit a check or cash to the Rosemont cafeteria, or
- mail checks to Nutrition Services: 349A W. Magnolia Ave., Glendale CA 91204 along with a completed Pre-Payment Meal Form
Returned
Check/Non-sufficient Funds (NSF): When a check is returned unpaid because the available balance is less than the amount of the transaction, also called
"returned check" or "bounced check". A fee of $15.00 will apply to each
returned check/NSF. A cash payment will then be required for
the amount of the returned check in addition to the $15.00 fee.
