Hello Spartan Families!

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! Our theme is Get Connected! and, as such, we will strive as a school community to ensure all students grow academically, socially and emotionally. Classes begin on Wednesday, August 16 at 9:28 as it is a Banking Day. Daily schedule M, T, Th and F is 8:30 - 3:10 and 9:28 - 3:10 every Wednesday.

Your student's schedule will be available Tuesday, August 8 at 4:00 p.m. on Q parent portal (https://parent.gusd.net) and Q student portal (https://student.gusd.net). Students in 7th grade should bring their schedule to their assigned WEB day, which is August 10th in the morning or afternoon (assignments coming soon). Students in 8th grade should bring their schedule when they come to pick up books and to purchase school items on August 11 or 14. The Parent Welcome (FKA Howdy Day) for 7th graders and their parents will take place in the Rosemont amphitheater at 8:30 on Friday, August 11 at 8:30 a.m. The Parent Welcome provides incoming students and parents an overview of expectations and need-to-know information for the first days of school. 

All students arrive through the front gate on Rosemont Avenue or the back gate on Alabama Street between 8:15 - 8:30 a.m. Students who arrive after the 8:30 bell will be considered late. Dismissal will be from the front and back entrances as well. 

Snack and lunch will be offered daily at no charge. Additional items such as bottled water, cookies or a second serving may be purchased.
