I am looking forward to a fun-filled year of building friendships, confidence, and academic skills in First Grade. Our daily schedule will consist of Morning Meeting, Fundations (phonics), Reader's Workshop, Specials, Recess, Lunch, Writer's Workshop, Science and Social Studies, and Math Workshop. We also incorporate Social Emotional Learning and IB (International Baccalaureate) themes and language into all our daily activities and lessons. 

Our Specials are:

• Monday- Music
• Tuesday- Gym
• Wednesday- Portuguese
• Thursday- Art
• Friday-  Library and Technology

Please note that students should always wear closed-toe shoes for safety (especially on the playground), and sneakers are required on gym days.
