December 15, 2020 – Collinsville High School Counselor TaRael Kee has nominated his colleague and department co-chair Karen Olsen for the LifeChanger of the Year Award.
“Karen has always fostered phenomenal relationships with students that have led to some pretty incredible outcomes in their social emotional well-being, college acceptances, scholarship offers, and so much more,” said Kee. “She is also a driving force in our school as she is an integral part of numerous clubs/activities and does so much work behind the scenes to help other people succeed. Karen also helps many of our staff members in a variety of ways. The really cool part about her helpfulness is that she does it selflessly and never looks for anything in return.
