March 11, 2022 – On Friday, March 18, 2022 Collinsville CUSD 10 students can wear a hat to school as a show of gratitude for the effort put forth by teachers and educational staff this school year. In addition, students wearing hats are asked to bring $1 to donate to the Kahoks Teaching Kahoks Future Teachers Scholarships.
The CHS Class of 2022 will be the first group of Kahoks to apply for the “Grow Our Own” scholarship program which supports selected graduates who plan to major in education and return to teach in CUSD 10. By participating in Tip Your Hat to Educators, younger students are becoming aware of education as a potential profession and thinking about growing up to become a Kahok Teaching Kahoks.
