Between 1st and 2nd periods at Collinsville High School on April 30, 2019, six CHS seniors learned they are recipients of 2019 Collinsville Education Scholarship Foundation scholarships.
Richard Coca, Nicholas Shepherd, Greg Witte, Lukas Liljegren, Bryson “Zane” Baker and Amy Burgess will each receive a $1,000 scholarship from the CESF, administered through the City of Collinsville.
The scholarships are presented each year to graduating seniors who live in the City of Collinsville and exhibit outstanding academic and leadership skills. Applications are reviewed by the CESF Board.
Board President Kai Redmond said, “Their accomplishments and achievements are many, their hard work is to be commended. Their futures are bright and we are proud of their significant contributions to the Collinsville community.”
The recipients will be honored at the May 13, 2019 City Council meeting.
