January 19, 2022 – Renfro Elementary secretary Linda Strittmatter was recognized today as January 2022 Kahok Educator of the Month. The award was presented by Edward Jones Representative Jason Rehg and Renfro Principal Laura Bauer.
In her nomination of Mrs. Strittmatter, Mrs. Bauer wrote:
“We would like to nominate Linda Strittmatter. She is one of our secretaries, who happens to be retiring at the end of the year.
She is kind of the ‘knower of all things’ here at Renfro. She knows all the families, the bus routes, the history of the school…everything. She is helpful to all teachers, staff and students. She is a hard-worker who never takes a day off of work.”
Local Edward Jones Representative Jason Rehg sponsors the award each month during the school year to recognize outstanding educators in Collinsville CUSD 10.
