Leprechauns were on the loose at Renfro Elementary in the wee hours of the morning on March 15, 2019.
Every year, the clever kids in Ms. Moss’ and Mrs. Evanoff’s classes used their best fanciful engineering skills to construct creative Leprechaun traps to catch the mythical creatures.
When the students came to school this morning, mischievous Leprechauns had visited their classrooms and left behind a mess — and some special treats.
The annual Leprechaun trap project encourages kids to use their imaginations, STEAM* and building skills to figure out how to capture a Leprechaun. Despite their best efforts – the classes have yet to trap one!
