Collinsville High School is hosting a No Hate Tour Virtual Assembly at 10:00 am on Monday March 15. All CHS are asked to log-in and participate.
About the Tour
The No Hate High School Tour, now in its 21st year, is an incredibly impactful educational program that uses the energy and excitement of celebrities to deliver critical bullying prevention tools, techniques and information to students in a relatable, peer-to-peer manner. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the Tour is going virtual for the 2020-21 school year with a completely revised program featuring the biggest names from the NBA, NFL, Action Sports, Music, Gaming, and Entertainment delivering messages of hope and inspiration to students. You may see messages from celebrities like Magic Johnson, Richard Sherman, Bethany Hamilton, Anthony Anderson, Tony Hawk, and more.
These well-known celebrities will speak directly to the students about their own experiences with bullying while offering advice about overcoming obstacles, being an ally, inclusion, kindness, surrounding yourself with positive influences, problem solving, and other important subjects that resonate with kids during a time when so many people are suffering from mental health issues.
The No Place for Hate virtual assembly is a combination of live and pre-recorded messages with an emcee that delivers essential information in a fun, positive, and interactive fashion. Students will be able to submit questions and comments that our emcee can address live during the assembly. There will also be polls and trivia that pop up to keep the students engaged.
Last but not least, the tour will be giving away (1) XBOX Series X or a $500 Visa Gift Card to a student at our school! Students will be able to enter to win once they are in the assembly room.
