Congratulations to Collinsville High School teacher Mary Sue Noeth who was chosen Kahok Educator of the Month for August 2019.
Ms. Noeth was surprised during her first hour class on Monday, September 16, 2019 by Edward Jones Representative Jason Rehg and members of the CUSD 10 administrative team.
CHS Principal David Snider chose Mrs. Noeth because of her extraordinary commitment to Collinsville High School and its students.
Mrs. Noeth retired at the end of the 2018-19 school year after being a CHS social studies teacher. When she learned the school needed a long-term substitute teacher due to a last-minute vacancy in the Math Department, she volunteered to leave her very brief retirement to return to CHS. She was a math major in college.
“Her willingness to step-up and help us when we needed a math teacher is indicative of her commitment to our students as well as the community,” said Snider.
He added, “Mrs. Noeth has been an exceptional teacher throughout her career at CHS. She was always ready to help when needed.”
Kahok Educator of the Month is sponsored by Jason Rehg each month to recognize exceptional Collinsville Community Unit School District #10 staff members.
