The 2022 Collinsville High School Junior/Senior Prom was held Saturday, April 23, at the Hyatt Regency at the Arch in St. Louis. The Junior (Class of 2023) Executive Board hosted this year’s prom. Nearly 600 students and guests attended. Twenty-four staff members volunteered as chaperones.
The theme was “Hollywood.” The Junior Class had been fundraising and planning for this event since their freshman year. All decisions, including decorations, location, meal choice, etc. were chosen by the Class of 2023 Executive Board. Their class sponsors are CHS teachers Toni Geisen and Kelli Ponce.
Class 0f 2023 Co-sponsor Toni Geisen said, “We were incredibly excited to be able to give these students the first “normal” prom in 3 years! Many students had no idea what prom was because it’s not taken place in so long. It was a huge success and everyone had a fantastic time.”
