Collinsville High School is holding the inaugural Fall Kahok Kickoff on Saturday, August 18, 2018.
This free-admission event combines all fall “Purple & White” intersquad scrimmages into one evening and incorporates them with introductions, performances and exhibitions.
The community is invited* and asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Collinsville Food Pantry. Concessions will be sold during the Kickoff. Everyone can show Purple Pride by wearing Kahok gear.
CHS Athletic Director Clay Smith says, “We think it is a great way to get the community, staff members and students together to start the school year off on a positive note.”
ALL of the CHS fall sports, as well as the Marching Kahoks, will be highlighted at some point during the Kickoff. See the schedule below:
5:00-6:00 pm VOLLEYBALL Purple & White match @ Fletcher Gym
5:20 pm TENNIS teams introduced @ Fletcher Gym
5:30-6:00 pm TENNIS exhibition @ courts
6:00-7:15 pm SOCCER Purple & White game @ Kahok Stadium
*CHEER will perform during Soccer game
6:30 pm DANCE team will perform at Soccer halftime
6:50 pm CROSS COUNTRY teams introduced @ Kahok Stadium
7:15-8:30 pm FOOTBALL Purple & White game @ Kahok Stadium
*MARCHING BAND will perform at Football halftime
7:30 pm GOLF teams introduced @ Kahok Stadium
*Please note: In accordance with the Collinsville High School Spectator Guidelines policy, students younger than high school age MUST be accompanied by an adult.
