On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, Ryan Sidwell, coordinator of the annual CUSD 10 4th Grade Jamboree, made the following announcement:“Based on the weather forecast at this time, it looks as though we will be canceling the Jamboree for this year. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience as we have tried multiple times to make this event happen.
We know that students were working hard and excited about the event but we have to remember that our first responsibility is to the safety of the students and staff, the decision to cancel is not easy. Enjoy the rest of the school year and see everyone at the 2020 Jamboree.”
The 2019 event was postponed twice from its originally scheduled date of May 2 due to rain and the threat of severe weather.
