For all senior students planning to attend college or a tech school after graduation, it’s time to apply for financial aid, which means completing the 2016-2017 Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as the FAFSA. Access this online at https://fafsa.ed.gov/
Deadlines for many scholarship opportunities are listed on the CHS Counseling Department website. In addition, students can stop by to review the Scholarship Cart which contains comprehensive, up-to-date scholarship materials and the CHS Library has books listing scholarships available for every area of study.
The CHS counseling team is available to assist students and parents with their post-graduation plans. Their website offers many links and tips for career, college and technical school planning. Families of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will also find valuable information.
