May 15, 2023 – Collinsville Middle School hosted their first annual Chess Championship on May 10, 2023 in the school library. Forty-nine students competed.
Congratulations to Gregoree Ballinger (8th grade champion) and Talan Werner (7th grade champion). After a battle to the very end, Gregoree took 1st place and Talan 2nd.
Library/Media Specialist Mr. Hayman is already looking forward to next year!
