On May 14, 2020 Collinsville Middle School (CMS) released its 8th Grade Honors and Recognition Ceremony Video to honor students who earned honors and awards during their 8th grade year.
“Although we cannot come together in celebration of these outstanding students, we invite everyone to virtually join us in celebration of their successes,” said CMS Principal Dr. Kimberly Jackson.
“CMS takes pride in the commitment, quality, character and discipline exhibited by our students. As such, we are pleased to continue with this event in light of the current social distancing situation,” she added.
“By viewing this video and recognizing the achievements of students in the Kahok community, together we publicly acknowledge the exemplary nature of our honorees. Support from esteemed members of our surrounding communities serves as a source of encouragement to these students as they press forward and accept the next set of challenges in their academic/professional journey. We hope that you will be available to partake in this historic moment in the life of our school as well as the life of our community,” said Jackson.
