The State of Illinois released guidelines for resuming some school-related activities during Phase III of the current public health crisis. Based on that guidance, Collinsville CUSD 10 has completed plans for Collinsville High School Athletics/Summer Strength & Conditioning, Summer Band, and Driver’s Education/Behind-the-Wheel instruction.
These activities can begin after Monday, June 15, 2020. For details, please contact your child’s coach/instructor based on the following:
- For CHS Athletics: Contact your child’s coach or CHS Athletic Director Clay Smith.
- For CHS Summer Band: Contact Band Director Robert Wright.
- The CHS Driver’s Education Department will reach out to students and families regarding Behind the Wheel driving schedules and student’s time slots.
Collinsville Middle School and Dorris Intermediate School are discussing potential plans. Please watch for future communication regarding those schools.
Annual Kahok Camps for younger children are uncertain at this time. If those camps are going to take place, an announcement will be made regarding restrictions and registration.
Scheduling and implementation of CUSD 10 summer activities are based on guidance from IHSA, ISBE and IDPH.
