Recently, 30 Collinsville High School students attended the Illinois Junior Classical League – South Convention in Monmouth, Illinois. At this all-day event, they participated in academic, creative, and athletic competitions. In addition to the many group and individual awards that were won, three of our students were elected to state offices. Thomas Campbell, a Junior at CHS, will serve as the new President of the IJCL-South. Juniors Daniel Sims and Sabrina Flohr will serve as Vice-President and Treasurer. It was also announced that Collinsville High School will host the convention next year in November 2013.
