CHS Meal Information for 2020-21 School Year

Here is the school meal plan for Collinsville High School students during the 2020-21 school year:

BREAKFAST SERVICE (Before School Day):

  1. Students will enter North Entrance of Cafeteria
  2. Students obtain b’fast from grab-n-go table from staff trained in food safety
  3. 3-4 Points of Sale systems will be in place for students to enter their number on a pin pad using a Q-tip
  4. A dining staff employee will hand the student a Q-tip using a clean glove
  5. Q-tip will be disposed after single use
  6. Students will exit out of West entrance of Cafeteria and head to morning classroom
  7. Students will be keep a minimum of a 6ft safe social distance in case there is a wait in line
  8. All dining staff will wear masks, gloves, and have a plexiglass shield as the student steps up to enter their pin number
  9. Hand sanitizer is available at each Point of Sale station for the student also to use before entering their pin number
  10. After end of breakfast service the Dining staff will safely sanitize each work area

LUNCH SERVICE (End of School Day):

  1. Students will enter North Entrance of Cafeteria
  2. Students obtain lunch from grab-n-go table from staff trained in food safety
  3. 3-4 Points of Sale systems will be in place for students to enter their number on a pin pad using a Q-tip
  4. A dining staff employee will hand the student a Q-tip using a clean glove
  5. Q-tip will be disposed after single use
  6. Students than have the option to stop at Grab-n-Go station for remote bag for the next day
  7. On Thursday and Fridays the student can take 2 remote bags home
  8. The student must write pin number on roster. A new pen will be used for each student.
  9. Pens will be disinfected at end of service
  10. Students will exit out of West entrance of Cafeteria and head home for the day
  11. Students will be keep a minimum of a 6ft safe social distance in case there is a wait in line
  12. All dining staff will wear masks, gloves, and have a plexiglass shield as the student steps up to enter their pin number
  13. Hand sanitizer is available at each Point of Sale station for the student also to use before entering their pin number

HYBRID LEARNERS:

Breakfast and lunch will be available to all students in attendance Tuesday through Friday. Breakfast is a grab-n-go for the student to eat in their classroom upon entering school. At the end of each day a Hot or Cold lunch will be available to go for the student. In addition, a remote bag with a breakfast and lunch inside the bag will be available for the student to take home for the day they are not in attendance. If the student will not be in attendance for two days according to the schedule, than they are allowed to take two remote bags home.

REMOTE LEARNERS:

All Remote Students will be eligible for Curbside meals on Mondays from 7am to 11am behind Collinsville High School from the dock. The student or guardian must provide the Dining Attendant with the student’s ID # or name. Complete remote students are then allowed to take 5 days worth of meals. Please note all breakfast meals and lunch meals will be tagged back to the
student based on their payor source of either Free, Reduced, or Paid.
