Join the Collinsville High School Choirs – with special guest performance by CHS Life Skills students on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 6:30 pm in the school’s Performing Arts Center. Admission is $5.
Collinsville High School received a Maritz Arts and Education Fund grant for a project titled Life Skills Students Inclusion in Madrigal Concert.
“We were awarded $950 for colored handbells and additional costumes so these students could participate fully in the madrigal experience,” said Vocal Music Director Lisa Cleveland.
Life Skills students are also helped the choir students decorate the lobby and auditorium. “We made window clings to transform the big windows into ‘stained glass’ and designed and made banners to hang throughout the lobby and performance venue, said Cleveland.”
The concert features traditional holiday songs and Renaissance period entertainment.
