On Tuesday, April 13th and Wednesday, April 14, 2021, Collinsville High School juniors will take state mandated assessments. ALL OTHER CHS STUDENTS WILL NOT ATTEND SCHOOL ON THOSE DAYS. Freshmen, sophomores and seniors are being given college/career days on April 13 and 14.
- Tuesday, April 13, 2021 juniors will take the SAT.
- Wednesday, April 14, 2021 juniors will take the Illinois Science Assessment.
THESE TESTS ARE A STATE REQUIREMENT FOR GRADUATION.
Schedule/Room Assignments
Unless you are in quarantine, ALL students BOTH IN-PERSON AND REMOTE must be at school and in their assigned classroom by 7:55am on test days. Each morning, beginning at 7:30 am, FREE BREAKFAST will be served outside the Cafeteria.
Testing concludes at 1:00 pm each day.
Note: In-person students received a notecard with their assigned testing room printed on it. Remote students received an email from a counselor and their US History teacher. If you do not know your classroom assignment, please contact your counselor as soon as possible. Also, every junior should have received a free, lime green “I can Do” t-shirt to wear. If you did not receive, a shirt, contact your counselor.
What to Bring
Students should BRING A CALCULATOR BOTH DAYS; and for the Illinois Science Assessment on Wednesday, April 14, students MUST BRING THEIR CHARGED CHROMEBOOK to school.
Health Protocols
CHS has taken extra precautions this year to ensure everyone’s safety. Students will be divided into groups of only remote or in-person students in groups of approximately 8 students per room allowing at least 6 feet between each student.
Transportation/Parking
Bus transportation is provided for all students, including remote-only. On test days, students can park in ANY numbered parking spot in the main student parking area.
