Important Information Regarding the Collinsville High School 2019 Prom:
Place and Cost: The Collinsville High School Junior/Senior Prom will be held at the Regency Conference Center in O’Fallon, Illinois. The date for Prom is Saturday, April 13, 2019. The price of a ticket will be $60.00 per person. This price includes dinner, unlimited beverages, dancing, photo booth, and more. Doors will open and registration will begin at 6:15 p.m. Seating for dinner will begin at 6:45 p.m. Dinner will be served promptly at 7:00 p.m. Coronation will be held at 8:00 p.m. Dancing will immediately follow the crowning of the King and Queen. Prom will end promptly at 11:00 p.m. Parents of court participants will be permitted to attend Coronation only.
Ticket Sales: Ticket sales will begin on February 22th before and after school and will continue through March 1st. Tickets will be sold outside the cafeteria. All tables will seat 10 people. Seating will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be able to choose your table from a seating diagram at the time you purchase your ticket. The seating diagram will be available for review outside the cafeteria. One person may purchase a complete table provided he/she has the money to pay for all tickets and has each person’s signed policy guidelines. All prom attendees must sign the Policies and Guidelines Agreement, including non-CHS attendees. If your date does not attend CHS, he/she must also submit a signed policy agreement in order to attend. Non-CHS guests who attend high school must have their registration form signed by their high school principal. A photo ID of the non-CHS guest or a copy of the ID must be provided by the CHS student at the time of payment. In addition, please read the CHS handbook policy below:
Dance Policy: Collinsville High School students may invite a guest to school dances (homecoming, winter ball, prom, post-prom, etc). All guests must be high school students and/or under the age of 21. No middle school age students or young adults over the age of 20 will be allowed to attend school dances without administrative approval. Guests of CHS students who are not members of the CHS student body may be required to complete a registration form with the main office and may be subject to a background check by law enforcement. The CHS administration will have final authority regarding anyone wanting to attend school functions as guests of students enrolled at CHS.
No ticket money will be refunded: Tickets are non refundable. No re-sale of tickets will be allowed. If a change in your escort/date occurs, you must immediately report the change to Mrs. Cary in room 213A. An accurate list of attendees is necessary.
Guests: All guests must be high school students and/or under the age of 21. Guests must complete registration and obtain necessary approvals.
When you arrive at the Regency, you will not be allowed to leave and return. Be sure you have everything with you (ticket, phone, identification, etc.) because you will NOT be allowed to leave the venue for any reason and return to Prom.
Dinner: You must sit at the table you selected when you purchased your ticket. Any students who disregard their table assignments will be asked to move. Please arrive on time to dine. Dinner will be served promptly at 7:00 p.m. Beverages will be served free of charge all evening. You will be required to remain seated throughout dinner and coronation. Students requesting a vegetarian dinner or who have special dietary needs will need to submit the request at the time tickets are purchased.
Pictures: Prom photographs will be taken by John Locus in the foyer of the ballroom. He will be providing a variety of photo packages for individuals, couples, and groups ranging from $21-$119. Picture packet information will be given to students during the prom assembly on April 12. You must pay for your pictures with cash or check that night. If you do not bring your payment, pictures will not be taken. Pictures will not be taken during dinner or court. We ask that everyone remain seated during this time.
Parking: Parking is on-site and free of charge.
Prom Assembly: There will be a prom assembly 7th hour on Friday, April 12. Students MUST attend the assembly to get their tickets and hear all relevant information. Students will be dismissed from school following the assembly.
Behavior/Expectations: The Regency and Collinsville High School expect only the best behavior from our students and their guests. Please remember that this is a school function and all school rules apply. All school policies as outlined in the Student Handbook are in effect. Alcohol/drugs are strictly prohibited, and smoking/vaping is not allowed anywhere in or outside the venue. There will be security personnel on duty, as well as faculty chaperones. Infractions of the rules will result in disciplinary action taken by the school. This may include, but is not limited to, violators being required to leave and/or police apprehending anyone in violation of the no alcohol, drugs, or tobacco stipulations.
Notice: ONLY ticket holders and chaperones will be allowed into the Prom.
Please note: In order to avoid embarrassing circumstances at the Prom or Post Prom, it must be understood that the use of or possession of tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, or any illegal substances, look-alike substances, drug paraphernalia, or weapons of any kind, will result in immediate removal and/or prosecution. Disorderly conduct of any kind will not be tolerated and could result in school discipline and/or prosecution. In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere, police supervision will be provided at the Prom.

After-Prom Party Information:
Dear Parents,
The Parents in the Action Committee of Collinsville High School is planning the 32nd Annual After-Prom Party. The party will be held after the prom 11:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. on April 13th, 2019 at Camelot Bowl in Collinsville, 618-344-8610. There will be no admittance allowed after 1:00 a.m. There will be bowling, food, soda and attendance prizes. COST PER PERSON IS $ 3.00! The cost to put on this event is approximately $3,000. Donations from parents, civic organizations and area businesses make this party possible.
Any Collinsville High School Junior or Senior and their guest may attend. All attendees will have to show a school ID or driver’s license at the entry and exit doors. You do not have to attend the prom in order to attend the After-Prom Party. This annual event is a held to offer a safe and fun atmosphere on Prom night. It is only possible through volunteer efforts and the donations by parents, civic groups and business in our community. Please consider supporting this worthy event.

It is wonderful to see 400+ young adults having a great time and being so respectful. The Collinsville, Maryville and Caseyville businesses have been the support group needed to make this a success for the Junior/Senior Prom.
