March 29, 2023 – Collinsville Community Unit School District #10 honored its Young Authors district winners at the annual Young Authors Tea for students and families on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
These students are invited to attend the 32nd Annual Madison County Young Authors Conference hosted by the Madison County Regional Office of Education on Saturday, April 29, 2023, in Edwardsville.
The Illinois Young Authors program celebrates exceptional writing by students in grades K through 8. This year’s CUSD 10 student entries were judged by the Collinsville High School English Department.
Superintendent Dr. Mark B. Skertich welcomed everyone and read one of the Young Author books: The Dirt Bike Kid Who Didn’t Give Up by Brentley Krimminger.
