October 19, 2021 – The Collinsville CUSD 10 Board of Education approved a revision of the district’s 2021-22 school calendar during their October regular monthly meeting. Friday, November 12 (the day after the Veterans Day holiday) will be a non-attendance day.
Due to attendance concerns following the holiday, coupled with a substitute teacher shortage, the board determined it was in the best interest of the district to declare a non-attendance day on Friday, November 12 and extend the end of the school year by one day. If NO emergency days are used, the last day of student attendance for the 2021-22 school year will be Thursday, May 19. (If 5 emergency days are used, the last day will be Thursday, May 26.)
PLEASE NOTE: Although approved by the BOE, this calendar is subject to change based on unpredicted circumstances or state guidance applicable to the 2021-22 school year.
