From the www.jacobspillow.org website: A National Historic Landmark and National Medal of Arts recipient, Jacob’s Pillow is home to America’s longest running dance festival, located in the beautiful Berkshire Hills of Western Massachusetts. Next summer the Pillow hosts its 81st world-renowned dance Festival June 15 through August 25, 2013.
Called “the dance center of the nation” by The New York Times, the Pillow brings together dance, music, art, nature and culture, with more than 350 free and ticketed events including free outdoor performances, photography and art exhibits, free talks and discussions, tours, dance classes, onsite dining, and much more.
