Jeree Bronnbauer was elected in April 2021 and joined the Board of Education in May.
Jeree is a 1997 graduate of Collinsville High School. She attended college and then earned four lines of insurance licenses in the State of Illinois and State of Missouri. She has proudly worked for Jody White State Farm Agency in Collinsville IL since 2008. In between college and getting insurance licenses, she has been a stay at home mom and a sub for Collinsville Unit District 10.
She loves serving her community. She has served as an executive committee and/or general committee member on The Italian Fest Main Street Event since 2009. She sat on the very first planning committee and served as the first Chairman of The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life Collinsville in 2009. She remained part of that committee until 2012, when she joined the Board of Directors for 3 Little Birds 4 Life, serving from 2012-2015. She was also a Development Associate for the The American Lung Association where she helped create a fundraising platform called I Love Lungs from 2012-2014.
Jeree currently sits on City of Collinsville’s Park & Recreation Advisory Commission Board and helps the Collinsville Gators Swim Team run smoothly.
She is very happily married to Kevin Bronnbauer. They have a beautifully blended family of 5 children. Jeree says, “Having a blended family means our kiddos did not all go to the same school or even the same school district. We have had children in the Triad School District and The Collinsville School District. We have also had children attend Good Shepherd Lutheran School. Our adult children have attended Southwestern Illinois College, Paul Mitchell The School in St Louis and we currently have a student at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Needless to say we have had our fair share of diversity within some amazing schools!”
She says between herself, husband and children, her family has attended 7 of the 12 schools in the Collinsville District Unit 10. She believes Collinsville Unit District 10 has become one of the best districts in Southern IL because it has so much to offer our very diverse community. She is honored to serve on the school board, as well as the budget committee.
While helping to keep the district’s focus on meeting every student’s needs, it is also her goal to hear community concerns. She looks forward to sharing district’s success while helping to keep a balanced and impressive budget.
Jeree completed Professional Development Leadership Training and Performance Evaluation Reform Act Training for School Board Members in February 2022.
