Hello friends, my name is Brad Hicks.  I am a science teacher here at CASA.  I am in my 13th year of teaching and have taught science every year.  The reason I chose to become a teacher was to have a positive influence on people's lives.  I hope to bring joy, support, and love to everyone I associate with.  

I received my bachelor's degree in middle grades education from Appalachian State University and my master's degree in executive leadership from Gardner Webb University.  When it comes to teaching, I work hard to have fun and engaging lessons that teach students multiple skills.  I also like to throw a few dad jokes in every lesson.  

In summary, I would like for you to know that if your child is in my class, they are going to be cared for academically and emotionally.  I strive to be the light, and for CASA students to have a wonderful high school/college experience.
