Mrs. Freda Parker
Freda Parker is a Career and Technical Education teacher specializing in engineering college classes. With a Bachelor's degree of Geology with secondary education from Appalachian State University and a Master's in Science Education Degree from East Carolina University. Mrs. Parker is a National Board Certified Teacher in CTE Engineering. Over the past 16 years, she has continued to advance her training in engineering at prestigious institutions such as the University of Kentucky and Duke University. As a lifelong learner, Mrs. Parker believes in leading by example for her students and ensuring that they are prepared for success in both the workforce and higher education. She utilizes research-based instructional strategies that involve challenging real world problems that develop students with critical thinking skills.
