I attended Peace College before transferring to Appalachian State to pursue my passion and love of art. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Art Education in 2009. I taught in the Iredell-Statesville Schools system for several years before moving to Caldwell County in 2013 to teach at Granite Falls Middle School. I moved to South Caldwell High School in the fall of 2021. I am the NAHS advisor for the SCHS Chapter, on Prom Committee, Fine Arts Department Chairman, and PLC Chairman for CCS Art Teachers 6-12.
