I was born and raised in Springboro, Ohio. I graduated Wright State University in 2004 with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. I taught fourth grade at Lebanon Christian for three years, while also being the Children's Minister at Countryside Nazarene Church.

I moved to Hickory, NC in 2007 where I taught at Viewmont Elementary in kindergarten, second, and third grade for twelve years. While at Viewmont Elementary I met my husband and in 2015 we were blessed with a daughter named Crystal. We currently reside in Granite Falls.

I am excited to be apart of the kindergarten team at Hudson Elementary. I love seeing the excitement for learning in kindergarten! I am looking forward to my 5th year as a Hudson Hornet and being able to help the students, families and faculty here at Hudson Elementary.

In my spare time I love to read, travel to the mountains, and enjoy my family time.
