Community Services
-
The Community Services Department provides information and resources to support and advance the goals and successful outcomes of public education, resulting in a clearer understanding of the levels of involvement from families and the community and their important role in student learning. By involving parents and community resources, students are encircled by the most effective and applicable services and opportunities to reach their optimal levels of academic performance and social development.
Some of the specific goals of Community Services include:
- Prepare and report information on school policies, programs, procedures, advancements, and critical actions affecting education
- Foster cooperative relationships between the Caldwell County Schools and community agencies
- Provide prompt, accurate information through media/social sources and public domains
- Encourage volunteerism and parent involvement in all schools
Community participation is interconnected to student achievement. Working together, students can receive the highest quality of educational program services. The school district identifies every opportunity to include parents in the educational process while being responsive to the special needs of families and their communities.
