I'm a native of Washington State and lived in Oregon and Arizona before moving to Caldwell County in 2003. I teach 8th grade English Language Arts at William Lenoir. When I'm not teaching my passion subject, reading, I prefer to be outside riding my mountain bike on the beautiful trails of Western North Carolina. Additionally, I coach the school poetry recitation team and our middle/high school interscholastic mountain bike team.
