    Rising 6th Grade Band and Chorus sign-ups have started! If you know of a current 5th grader who will be attend GFMS in the fall, please encourage them to sign-up for band or chorus. Students have the opportunity to learn how to play a musical instrument or learn to sing while in school at GFMS. These are elective classes that meet DURING the school day and do not require after school attendance.  Students can still participate in sports!  Visit the GFMS website for more information and to register.  Sign-ups end Friday, May 3rd so don't delay!

    Good afternoon!  I want to welcome everyone to school to Granite Falls Middle School.  Below are a few things that you need to know.

     

    *Students will NOT need to bring their instruments to school on the first day of school.  

    *6th Graders will not need their instruments until Sept. 5.  This is a strict deadline, so please make sure that you have made arrangments my that date.

    *6th and 7th graders will be using Standard of Excellence Book 1 this school year.  If you have lost yours, you need to get a new one.  The Chapman Instrument Repair has them in stock. 8th graders will not be using a method book.
